Dubin Bus have said that passenger safety is their number one concern after a wheel came off a bus in the city on Tuesday.
Thankfully nobody was harmed when a wheel came off the 15B bus at Butt Bridge on the Dublin quays on Tuesday afternoon.
The company says that an investigation is underway and that it was a completely isolated incident.
According to the Irish Examiner, Dublin Bus drivers carry out visual checks every morning.
Checks using torquing equipment take place every 25,000 kilometres, while there are trained checks every four weeks.
