London’s four-star Hoxton Hotel is about to launch one of the best promotions you’re likely to find – with 595 uber-cool rooms going for just £1 per night.

At 12 noon on 9 September the hotel will release 595 rooms for £1 each and another 595 for £29 through its website for dates between 10 September 2010 and 9 January 2011.
The last time the hotel launched this type of sale they shifted over 1000 rooms in 13 minutes and had over 250,000 people trying to book. The interest means that those applying will get a room either for £1 or £29.
The hotel also has a number of other cut-priced deals on the go such as weekends in November from £49 per night, Christmas from £69 per night and first week in January 2011 for £49 per night.
Those applying for the £1 deal are only allowed to book one room, for one night at that price. The lucky bookers are notified by email with a confirmation.
The Hoxton hotel is something of a landmark in the Shoreditch manor area of the city. It features 205 bedrooms, the Hoxton Grill Restaurant and six meeting and event rooms.
It is located within walking distance of Old Street tube and the City of London, and is a jump-off point for nearby Moorgate, Finsbury Square and Liverpool Street.
