Travel company Usit is putting together a series of events around the country aimed at filling you in on how to go about setting up a stint abroad, the first of which takes place in Dublin this weekend.

A range of experts will be on hand to discuss one-year work visas for Canada, the US, Australia and New Zealand as well as migration visas for Australia. Information will also be given on how to go about securing paid teaching jobs in China, Korea and Thailand as well as on volunteer projects in Ghana, Thailand and Peru.

The event, open to anyone over 18, will take place in Usit’s Dublin office (19/21 Aston Quay, D2) from 2pm until 5pm on Sunday 12 September.

Next up is the Galway event, scheduled to kick off in The Radisson Hotel at 6.30pm on Tuesday 14 September. Then it’s Limerick’s turn with an event in the Savoy Hotel at 6.30pm on Wednesday 15 September. Finally, the Usit team will be in Cork’s Imperial Hotel from 6.30pm on Thursday 16 September.

Those interested can register for a free place on www.usit.ie or call 01 602 1908. As an extra bonus, all attendees will receive a €10 calling card to make free calls to your friends and families overseas.
