Who doesn’t love a good water-slide? Here we take a look at ten water-slides in some spectacular locations around the world.

We’re a little sad that Rainbow Rapids is no more because we reckon it would have been right there in the mix on this list compiled by Trivago.

1. Atlantis, The Palm – Dubai, United Arab Emirates: This slide is one of many in this waterpark, but there aren’t many slides that can boast of a glass tunnel through an aquarium where you are surrounded by sharks, fish and did I mention sharks?

2. Hard Rock Bali – Kuta, Bali: This may not be the scariest looking slide, but the scenery and surroundings look spectacular. It’s like taking a slide right into heaven.

3. Orlando World Centre Marriott – Orlando, Florida: Apart from alligators, most stuff in Orlando is great. The new slide tower features two 60-metre winding water slides and one exhilarating 27-metre high-speed slide.

4. The Reef Atlantis, Paradise Island City – Bahamas: Lads, it’s the Bahamas, anything is going to look spectacular there. The iconic Mayan temple water slide feature, where guests can race each other on the Challenger Slide looks fantastic.

5. Fodele Brach – Crete, Greece: This one has the beauty of the azure Crete sea as a backdrop added to the surrounding mountains and you have yourself a pretty spectacular environment.

6. Great Wolf Lodge – Niagara Falls, Canada: Okay, admittedly the photograph could easily have been taken at any indoor water park, but this one is an indoor water park at Niagara Falls, therefore, it wins.

7. Hilton Hawaiian Village – Honolulu, Hawaii: This looks like a water slide made by Mother Nature herself. It blends in with the environment and again, the location is spectacular.

8. Ramada Resort Aquaworld – Budapest, Hungary: Based on a replica of Cambodia’s iconic Angkor Wat temple, the 73-metre wide glass dome encloses 11 water slides reaching a total length of almost one kilometre. Need we say more?

9. Jungle Aqua Park Hotel – Hurghada, Egypt: Situated on Egypt’s idyllic Red Sea coast, friends can race each other on the group slide, which is the park’s largest water slide at 20 metres in height and 70 metres in length.

10. Ersan Resort & Spa – Bodrum, Turkey: Whilst bombing down the slide, you can catch glimpses of the azure Aegean ocean and green pine-covered hills.
