Let’s be honest here, news reading can appear pretty routine until there is a bit of a cock-up. This particular clip is a few years old at this stage, but is possibly the reference point for all newscasters out there of when it goes wrong, it really can go wrong. And also be dragged out.
This is a slow car-crash of a sports round up if ever we saw it, and the poor fella is just a bag of nerves. It probably doesn’t help when his female colleague is also struggling to contain herself.
