Ireland’s Katie Taylor will be showing more green than just the tricolour this summer as she recently picked up an all-new eco-friendly Toyota Auris.
Toyota Ireland’s brand ambassador, Katie Taylor, recently picked the all-new Toyota Auris Hybrid as her car of choice and even though we’re petrol heads here at JOE, we will admit that it’s a pretty sexy hybrid. Also, at least you know that Katie is a bit green on the inside, even though she dishes out her fair share of black eyes – in the ring of course.
Commenting on her brand spanking new Auris Hybrid, Katie said: “Not only do I love the look of the Auris Hybrid, but as a person with a strong interest in the protection of the environment for future generations, I also love the fact that I’m driving a car that was created with the future of the environment in mind.
“It’s also an incredibly quiet and comfortable car, which makes for a really relaxed and stress-free driving experience.”
Relaxed and stress free? Sounds like the perfect motor for a boxer so. As Ireland pins it’s Olympic hopes on the shoulders of the Bray native, Toyota Ireland has even taken the time to wish our gold medal hopeful the very best of luck.
Speaking at the presentation of the Toyota Auris Hybrid to Katie, Ian Corbett the Marketing Operations Manager for Toyota Ireland, said, “Since her first major win at the 2005 European Championships, Katie has been a hugely popular champion and is an outstanding role model.
“We think she’s the perfect ambassador for the new Auris Hybrid. Toyota Ireland would like to wish Katie the very best of luck in her future career.”
