Gucci have unveiled the newest attraction to the luxury fashion house in the form of a posh made-to-measure service.
James Franco can count himself lucky that Gucci chose him as the face of their new campaign, as we can only imagine the stock of free clothes he’s about to receive. Especially when their newest feature is a made-to-measure service available to the rich and fashionable, and obviously James Franco.
For Gucci’s new campaign, named All The World’s a Stage, Franco models a collection of bespoke suits on the grounds of the Cinecittà Studios, where all the major Italian films of the 40’s and 50’s were made.
It’s not the first time the Spiderman/Pineapple Express actor has adorned a Gucci made-to-measure, as the company sent one his way for the 2010 Academy Awards. He’s also featured in a 2008 fragrance campaign for the company’s male collection. Talk about getting in with the right crowd.
The made-to-measure Gucci suits will start off at around €2,200, which isn’t bad considering you’ll have a suit made just for you. To sweeten the deal the service boasts 82 different textiles and over 170 possible combinations of colours and fabrics.
Sadly though, the Gucci store in Erris is still only a dream so you’ll have to travel to one of the 11 flagship stores in either Milan, Rome, Paris, London, New York, Beverly Hills, Tokyo (Ginza & Shinjuku), Hong Kong, Beijing, or Sydney. Oh, and you’ll have to wait four to six weeks before you get it.
