Ray Coyle, founder of the Meath-based Largo Foods, has agreed to sell his last shares in the company that owns Tayto, Hunky Dory, Perri and King crisps.
The company that’s about to take responsibility for one of Ireland’s most famous brands is called Intersnack, and is based in Germany.
Irish customers need not fear any dire consequences as a result of this sale for the time being. Mr. Coyle will remain as chairman of Largo Foods until 2017 at least.
