It mightn’t seem like it but summer is fast approaching so we decided to help you put together a playlist of tunes to listen to in fine weather at home and abroad… mostly abroad.
Finding an essential summer tune can be a tricky business. It needs to have a beat that’s not busy enough to compel you to get up off your sun lounger and break into dance at the drop of a hat, but it also needs to be steady enough that you can nod your head along to approvingly at the same time.
With that in mind, there are few better bands than the purveyors of cool, Fun Lovin’ Criminals and few better singers than FLC frontman Huey Morgan, arguably the most laid-back man in music.
The Fun Lovin’ Criminals have a few ultra-cool numbers in their back catalogue but none more so than ‘Loco’, which also comes with a brilliant video featuring the quota of scantily-clad beautiful women and Hawaiian shirts demanded of any summer song worth its salt.
Smooooooooth.
