St Patrick’s Day isn’t just a public holiday in Ireland. It’s also a holiday in both Newfoundland in Canada and Montserrat in the West Indies.

St Patrick’s Day isn’t the only day when Montserrat turns Irish. It is called the Emerald Isle all year round and the accents of the locals resemble those from West Cork. They even have a place called Kinsale.

So there you have it. If the whole world is making the effort for Paddy’s Day, there is no way you shouldn’t.
