What a kind gesture.
BBC Radio Solent invited a 95-year-old man from Southampton into the studio for a chat and a cuppa after telling them this story.
According to somecards.com, Bill’s wife suffers from dementia and although he still visits her everyday, the situation has caused him to become very lonely.
As a result, the station made this lovely gesture, which you can see below.
Bill phoned BBC Radio Solent. He was upset, lonely and missing his wife.Alex decided to invite him in.We sent a cab to pick him up, have a listen to what happened next.
