Sometimes the simple things are often the best and what better than to listen to 22 of the sweetest sounding supercars you’ve ever heard as they start their engines.
To the untrained ear, the above video is just a wave of incomprehensible crap. However, to the all-knowing petrol head, the video is a compilation of audible chocolate. Looking at supercars is a nice way to pass the time, but you can very rarely accomplish anything by just looking at it.
In fairness, all supercars look quite nice. You may not like the Jaguar XJ220, but you will admit it’s a tad bit tastier than your average road car. To find the cars inner beauty you must hear her speak.
Some cars incoherently shout at you from across the room like the bloke who’s had one pint too many, while others seduce you with low rumbling velvety tones. From the above video we were able to make a few judgments.
The Zonda is possibly the meanest sounding motor of the collection. The Morgan sends a shudder down your spine thanks to its awesome power. However, the most disappointing sounding car of the compilation has to be the Agera R. It’s weak and short and certainly wouldn’t shoot fear into anyone stupid enough to try and race it.
So sit back relax and enjoy the sounds.
