This was a bit of a no-brainer, as the footballer turned boxer turned Twitter troll destroey Curtis Woodhouse is our Hero of the Week

Twitter trolling is something which is done by all and sundry, including celebrities like Piers Morgan, who regularly spends his weekend afternoons trolling Arsenal fans.

However, if you’re a pro boxer, and you’ve got a fair whack of followers, you can properly deal with trolls in truly epic fashion.

On the weekend just gone, Woodhouse lost his match up against Shane ‘The Pain’ Singleton (which is better than our boxing name JOE ‘The Shmo’) and was obviously disappointed enough without getting abuse from some random guy on Twitter.

The tweets included abuse along the lines of “you put so much effort in and sacrificed all that time and failed to defend your mickey mouse title” and “retire immediately” as well as a bit of further abuse calling him a complete disgrace.

The troll, James O’Brien, obviously picked the wrong day, as Woodhouse found out where he lived and started heading towards his house, about 60 miles away in his car.

When he arrived to the guy’s street, Woodhouse tweeted him with a picture of his road sign and said “I’m here” with the hash tag #itsshowtime. We’re not sure about you, but if a professional boxer showed up at our door we’d be bricking it too, which is exactly what the troll, who went by the handle of @jimmyob88 did, as he backed down quick smart from the trouble he’d caused.

He said that it had gotten out of hand, he was only joking and that he knew he was in the wrong, and was desperate to try and get out of the situation any way he could.

Since then all the Twitter greats have been giving the thumbs up to Woodhouse, from Joey Barton to Lennox Lewis, and O’Brien was left looking like the biggest eejit going.

He looked even stupider on ITV’s Daybreak this morning when he finally came face to face with the boxer and was force to apologise, admitting he’d been extremely childish and that he’d learned his lesson, big style.

So the next time you’re thinking about trolling a person who makes their living from punching other people in the face, maybe you should think twice…

If you want to be a hero like Curtis, you could do so without driving 60 miles, you can go much further and go into space! Just head over to lynxpollo.com, get yourself signed up and see if you’ve got what it takes.
