A man in the UK went and got himself a second – yes, second – tattoo of Top Gear’s ‘Captain Slow’ and this one was a massive portrait on his thigh.
Getting a tattoo can be a personal experience for some, and an excuse to be ‘cool’ for others. Then there are those who cover their bodies in ridiculous art for no apparent reason. Meet Jim Root, the man who has not one, but two tattoos of James May on his body.
The first one he got some time ago and is a picture of James depicted as a LEGO man. The second tattoo of James, that Jim recently got, is a portrait of May’s head from the neck up, like an old-timey bust.
Of all the people, in the whole entire world, is James May really the man you’d want to get tattooed on your body for the rest of your life? Is Gandhi not good enough?
In fairness to Jim, it’s a fairly descent resemblance of May, one that’s recognisable from afar. But getting May on your thigh? Do you really want him looking at you first thing in the morning when you’re dropping the kids off at the pool?
All to their own we suppose.
You can check out Jim’s YouTube video explaining the tattoo below.
