This sounds like an interesting work night out.
I’m certain that lots of you have enjoyed a few wild nights out with your mates from work, we all have.
When drinking with work colleagues, most Irish people tend to chat, have some craic and usually try to lob the gob of the person that they fancy at the first available opportunity.
Hey, we’re not judging.
I’m going to say that team-building in New Jersey is done very differently than Ireland though after hearing this story about Michael Peacock, a man that lost much more than his dignity after a boozy session with some work friends went horribly wrong.
What happened is that the entire staff went on a bar crawl, and when the party eventually moved to a boat that evening, Michael’s boss started to get aggressive with him.
There’s always one.
According to the lawsuit, Michael was confronted by his boss outside the bathroom and in an effort to bond with his employee, his boss pulled Michael’s left testicle “down as if to rip it from his groin”.
And you that that your boss was bad.
Sadly, Michael needed three surgeries on account of the injury and he’s also suing his former employers on the grounds that they cut his pay and forced him out of his job after the incident.
What we don’t understand though is Michael’s decision to file charges against the bar that served him alcohol after he claimed that they that they got too drunk in the first place.
Good luck to him with the lawsuits against his boss and the company, but if that case against the bar was won then every single pub in Ireland would probably be guilty.
