There comes a time in many a man’s life when they seem to be going on a stag do every other weekend.
They’re great craic and all, but many stag survivors will tell you that four or five stags with your best mates is enough, never mind 16 stag parties, in three months, all of them with people that you wouldn’t know from Adam.
That’s what an Englishman known as Will Stevenson has put himself through this year, having first placed a bid on a place on a stag do in Budapest in June and subsequently finding himself on trips to Munich, Madrid, Barcelona, Ibiza and Amsterdam amongst other locations.

According to the Daily Mail, Will’s appearance on the first stag came to the attention of BBC Radio One DJ Scott Mills.
After he shared the tale of his experience with Scott on the radio, he was inundated with requests to turn up on other people’s stag dos and obviously thought ’why the hell not’.

Will reckons he has covered approximately 31,000 miles and spent around £10,000 over the 16 trips (approximately €13,470), a figure that won’t seem too far-fetched to any readers who have been on foreign stag trips in the recent past.
Will has been documenting his experiences on his Twitter account and the badger he brings with him on the trips has become something of a cult hero.

“The last few months have been absolutely non-stop – I feel like I’ve spent the last 12 weeks either partying or in airports,” Will said.
“Some of the stags overlapped, especially in Ibiza, so when one group was leaving I’d be staying behind for more madness.

“I used up my holiday allowance pretty quickly but fortunately my job is quite flexible.”
If 16 wasn’t bad enough, Will has plans to head to three further stags in the near future, including trips to Las Vegas and Melbourne.
Good luck to him and all that, but even thinking about 19 stags is making us sleepy.
