New cruise range launched

Irish travellers will be able to choose from a range of 42 cruise options with news that a Thomas Cook is expanding its operations.

Th e cruise range, now the most comprehensive in Ireland, features 42 cruises covering destinations worldwide with seven select cruise lines.

Cruises range from a four-day winter sunshine break in the Canary Islands to more lengthy trips to the Galapagos Islands, the Mediterranean, the Baltic States, Fjords, the Caribbean, the Far East and Alaska also on offer.

Ships range from three to six-star, and some vessels feature ice rinks, climbing walls, chill out zones, Playstations, basketball courts, champagne bars and state-of-the-art spas.

“There are also intimate ships designed to dock where others just can’t go, such as into St Petersburg, into Cannes at film festival time or to seek out polar bears in Norway,” said a company statement. “These ships come with butler service, exquisite cuisine, stylish suites and complimentary drinks.

The cruises are connected to via charter flights from Dublin to Palma and Malaga. Prices start from €999 including flights, transfers and all meals and entertainment.
