And you thought business time was just a euphemism.
Well it’s not. It’s a very real time. It’s 10.24pm on a Saturday.
Research undertaken by website IllicitEncounters.com found that exactly 24 minutes past 10pm on a Saturday evening is the median time for people to engage in a little post-afternoon delight.
Even on a less specific level, Saturday was by far and away the most popular day for lurve-making, with 42% of survey respondents saying Saturday was their preferred day for sex. The weekend in general was hugely preferred to work days, with 26% of those surveyed saying Friday and 22% saying Sunday.
The study surveyed 1000 people, users of Illicit Encounters – which is the UK’s biggest dating website for married people.
However, people who have affairs tend to conduct their affairs on Friday, because they can use work as an excuse, according to the website’s spokesperson Christian Grant, who spoke to The Mirror.
