… and a legendary joke comes to life.
We never thought we’d see the day that ‘a horse walks into a bar’ would be followed by a genuine anecdote about a horse walking into a real life bar, but here we are.
Joe Sheahan sent this excellent image into JOE, after this horse walked into the bar in which he works in Askeaton, County Limerick.
Take a look, because this is pretty mad.
When JOE asked Joe why the horse stopped by, he gave this brilliant explanation:
“This guy (pictured with this horse) just randomly walks in with his horse!
“I was working behind the bar on the day and I wasn’t sure how to handle it, so we just let the horse there while the guy drank a pint. I would say it lasted around five minutes.
“I didn’t challenge the guy because there were other people there who were enjoying the fact there was a horse in the pub!
“We all had a great laugh so I didn’t challenge it and asked the guy for a snap.”
Outstanding. Simply outstanding.
