We now live in an age where virtually everything is monitored and subjected to some form of analysis.
You didn’t just walk to the shops to get the paper, you took 156 steps on your way there, shed 100 calories and reached an elevation of 56 feet when you took a detour up a steep side street to avoid an annoying neighbour, that sort of thing.
Some things shouldn’t really be subject to rigorous analysis and you would think that sex would be one of them, but if technology is going to help improve our performance in the sack, then we’re all for it.
One woman recently wore a Fitbit tracker to chart her ‘performance’ during sex and subsequently posted a graph – which included some very detailed and graphic descriptions at various intervals – of the results on the website Imgur, unsurprisingly generating huge interest in the process.
More than 600,000 people have since seen the graph, which details that the woman and her partner went at it for eight minutes, switched positions at least once and she reached orgasm (a point at which her heart rate reached its highest point) before he did.

As we said, the graph generated huge interest but we’re not sure if people making their sexual performance public will catch on, who wants people to know it was all over within 60 seconds after all?
