An Australian man said he felt “genuinely sick” after almost biting into an intact lung contained in a KFC Premium chicken breast.
Marc Nicholls told NewsCorp about the offal that he discovered in a KFC outlet in Surfer’s Paradise, offal that he described as “vile” and that made him feel genuinely sick.
Nicholls spat out the breast and threw away the meal after making the discovery, pictures of which has since gone viral and won’t do wonders if you’re constitution is a little bit weak.

Nicholls said that he wasn’t offered a refund for his meal, which set him back $AUS 11.95, but he was instructed to make a complaint via e-mail.
For their part, KFC said that the unfortunate contents of Nicholls’ meal was most likely kidney or lung tissue that wasn’t removed during processing but did not pose any health risk.
“Most of the time offal is removed in the preparation process but occasionally it may remain,” KFC said.
“There’s no health risk associated when this occurs but we appreciate that if a customer hasn’t seen this before it may look disturbing.”
