Unless you’re a part of the family or happen to know everyone that’s in attendance, most weddings are tinged with a small element of social awkwardness because you’re usually in a room that’s filled with strangers.
We all know the protocol, make nice and engage in small talk with these people that you’ll never see again in your life but what happens when the most powerful man in the world pops up at your reception?
That’s the wonderful story that Stephanie and Brian Tobe will get to tell their friends though after Barack Obama just happened to be playing golf at Torrey Pines Golf Course near San Diego, the location of their reception.
The couple said that the US President has happy to hang out with them for a while before offering the groom some advice.
Obama even shook the hands of everyone that was present on the course at the time.
The couples wedding photographers have been sharing the images and story via their blog and these snaps are excellent.
