Eóin O’Fathaigh and his pal Rory Foy had a tough time getting over Galway’s defeat to Kilkenny in the All-Ireland Final on Sunday, but we get the feeling that a few handy pints went some way towards dulling the pain.
The two boys headed to Flannery’s on Camden Street for a few jars and ran into this beautiful Brazilian girl outside the premises.
Rory was quite taken with her, and they even shared a kiss, but according to Eóin – who contacted us on Tuesday afternoon – his phone died while taking note of her number. Sakes.
“She drove one of those bike taxi things, and she’s not long in Ireland,” Eoin tells us. “(She had) great English and an all round lovely girl.
“Rory is from Ballindereen in Co Galway, is a former U21 and Minor All-Ireland winner, and he was on about going out again Monday just for the chance he would meet her – he’s that smitten.”

Does anyone know the young lady in question? Is she still in the country? Rory’s love life depends on it, and he won’t rest until he’s bought her several caipirinhas and a bag of chips from Rick’s Hamburgers on Dame Street.
