Game changer.
There’s two things that are almost guaranteed to happen during any Irish persons weekend.
1) A night out on the town is a must where a few drinks will downed in an ‘orderly’ manner and 2) breakfast rolls will be absolutely wolfed down the next morning for ‘soakage’.
The geniuses at Guinness have now managed to combine ‘the cure’ and ‘the reason’ for your hangover because they’re launching a new ‘smooth and intense’ black table sauce that sounds like the perfect hangover cure.
According to the makers of the black stuff, there’s 7% Guinness in every bottle and it’s sourced straight from the brewery at St James’ Gate.
This also means that if you’re dying for a drink but you don’t have any cans in your house, it’s perfectly acceptable to drink sauce straight from the bottle thus giving a new meaning to the term ‘sauce merchant’.
Guinness fans may know that this isn’t the first time that famous stout has made an appearance in our cupboards. HP sauce flavoured with Guinness was launched in 2011, but it was sadly discontinued in 2013.
According to the Metro, Guinness sauce will go on sale in U.K Tesco stores from mid-May, we would be shocked if it didn’t make an appearance over here, and it’s priced at €2.
Sausage, bacon, egg and Guinnness. It’s just right on every single level.
