A recent survey conducted on 15 year old students around the world has revealed that people in Irish schools receive the second highest amount of homework.
Speaking from personal experience, this writers back should be absolutely fecked right now after having to endure years of cycling home from school with about 20 different books in my bag, so this information isn’t exactly a surprise.
While our secondary-schools seem to revel in ruining the craic for students, they’re not as bad as their Italian counterparts.
