This photo takes us back…
Secondary school was a wonderful, awful, but wonderful time in your young life and we thoroughly wish we could make a trip back there with all the life skills we know now.
One thing we’ve never missed is the enormous bag of books we were forced to cart around during our years there which we think has permanently damaged our backs.
JOE reader Áine Foley sent us in this photo which shows the amount of books you go through during your years in secondary school, and it’s quite a lot…
Áine informs us that she is 5ft 3 in a thick pair of socks and the pile of her school books are a good foot, if not more, above her head.
Give yourself a well-earned pat on the back for carrying that heavy bunch around for for six years.
Cheers to Áine Foley for sending this in.
