That means the can will have expired exactly 26-years ago next Thursday.
However, seeing as the ‘best before’ date on the can in question is dated May ’89, the beer itself may have been canned back in ’88. We’ll need an expert brewer’s knowledge for that one…
The retro can in question was found on a shelf in The Green Bar in Borrisokane in Tipperary.
