Ah Countdown, the show that makes us feel like we’ve never been exposed to the education system, JOE just can’t cope with the pressure of that countdown clock.
The smart and beautiful Rachel Riley’s role on the show is to place vowels and consonants on the board at the behest of the player, it’s all completely random. However, every now and then, Rachel happens to spell out a perfect word or phrase and it’s glorious when it all aligns.
The funny part is that it usually happens to be a dirty word that shouldn’t be seen on television, but today’s coincidence was brilliant and it summed up how eejits like us here at JOE feel every time we watch the show…
