A Taco Bell employee from California is currently under fire from keyboard warriors after a picture of him licking taco shells was posted onto the Taco Bell Facebook page.
The picture below was posted to the Taco Bell Facebook page over the weekend, however, it’s unclear whether the photo was taken recently, or whether it was taken in the past and only surfacing now. Either way, the bloke can expect to be fired…
While the pic was taken down from the Taco Bell Facebook page it remains on the original uploader’s profile page for all to see. The uploader in question goes by the name of Jj O’Brien Nolan (sounds a tad Irish) who says: “This sure says a lot about your employees, food treatment, and what they post on the internet. Ridgecrest, California.”
In fairness to Taco Bell’s PR team they quickly responded to Jj’s post on Facebook: “Hi Jj – We have strict food handling procedures and zero tolerance for any violations. We believe this is a prank and the food was not served to customers. We are conducting an investigation and will be taking swift action against those involved.”
So far the pic has been shared over 2,500 times on Facebook. We wonder if the guy in the pic thinks it’s so damn funny now.
