It’s particularly unfortunate as it is in relation to the deceased, but we still reckon the guests at this particular wedding would have managed to see the funny side.

Guests at Irish weddings often find it particularly hard to avoid laughing at inappropriate times during the mass itself; as it’s such a joyous occasion the mood is always good and there may or may not be a few guests with the giggles as a result of a few looseners beforehand.

We imagine that the guests at one particular wedding, which we believe took place in Armagh this weekend, found it especially hard to withhold their laughter once they came across this rather unfortunate typo in the mass booklet, which you’ll see on the second line below and a picture of which was retweeted by Ross O’Carroll Kelly amongst others earlier on.

We’re sure whoever responsible was mortified when they realised what they had done, but at least it would have provided plenty of conversation and laughs for around the dinner table at the reception later on.

Hat-tip to David Loughlin for his help with this one
