Pic: The panic-inducing view from the top of the world’s tallest waterslide

Don’t. Look. Down.

Don’t. Look. Down.

Here at JOE we like big waterslides as much as the next speedo-wearing, adrenaline seeking individual, but we have to admit we’d think twice about having a go on the Meg-a-Blaster, the giant waterslide set to open in Schlitterbahn Park in Kansas City in the spring.

Standing a little short of 140 feet, it is just about higher than what is currently the tallest waterslide in the world, the aptly named Insano in Brazil, which is 135 feet high and sends those brave enough to give it a whirl pummelling towards the water at around 62 miles per hour.

Those brave enough to go on the Meg-a-Blaster will be travelling at even more frightening speeds and if the information about the height and the speed weren’t enough, just have a look at the picture from the top and try not to sh*t your swim shorts.
