We all know getting someone to go to the debs with can be a pretty tricky task, especially if you looked like us when we were 18.
We actually managed to get someone to go along, willingly, so it all ended well. But, our date looked nothing like the potential woman this guy in the States could end up with.
Anthony Pinnisi, from Virginia is going to prom in a few weeks, and he his friend has given him permission to take her mother, if he got 500,000 retweets.
Here’s the text conversation that brought about the bet.
Anthony posted that screengrab along with these pictures of his friend’s mother on Twitter with the line ‘help a dude out’ and the reaction has been huge.
His Twitter account @AnthonyJPissini has been trending in Chicago and New York, and people in Ireland have also been retweeting the post.
He reached 50,000 retweets a little earlier today, it’ll be interesting to see how far it goes.
