Pic: This man has a very unique way of protecting his pint from spilling in a bar

One to try

Paul Moore

One to try.

There’s nothing worse than being surrounded in a busy bar and having some jackass rudely bump into your thus causing drink to spill all over your shirt or even worse, smash to the floor.

Anyone that does this to you is a gremlin of the highest order and they should 1) beg for your forgiveness and 2) buy you a new drink.

Then again, maybe you happen to know someone that just drops every glass that they hold. Then they’ve no excuses.

One man in London though has claimed to have perfected a stance that makes spillages a thing of the past.

Jerry Stuart is a regular customer at the King & Queen pub in the in the Fitzrovia area of London and his technique is odd to say the least but if it works, then those extra few mouthfuls of beer might be here to stay.

What Jerry does involves placing his thumb parallel to his fingers as he grips the glass before crouching down to give his body more of a protective stance.

This image below explains the technique better and it’s odd to say the least. I wonder if he can keep this stance up for the whole night? If so then his back must be killing him.

Fair play to anyone that’s willing to give it a try.
