PIC: These two photos of the same location in Phoenix Park taken exactly six months apart are class

Colm Boohig

We found ourselves staring at this for ages.

The summer is here and the weather is very slowly and subtly improving.

In fact, it’s positively lovely in many parts of the nation, and that could continue for some time.

We hope it will, because that winter sure was long and depressing.

Many of us probably took the bleak conditions for granted in Ireland throughout autumn, winter and spring, but these two photos perfectly encapsulate the big change in just six short months.

Philip Joyce, from Blanchardstown in Dublin, took the exact same picture of a tree in Phoenix Park twice; the first on November 1 at 7.02am and the second on May 28 at 8.12pm.

You can probably tell which is which…

Lovely photos

Lovely stuff.

Cheers to Philip Joyce for sending this our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102, editorial@JOE.ie or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter.
