PIC: This sign at the Dublin Marathon could only be seen in Ireland

Roughly 20,000 hit the streets of Dublin City today to take part in a gruelling marathon and they all did themselves proud.

The race kicked off at roughly 9am and the quickest finishing time was recorded by Dejere Debele Tulu from Ethiopia, who clocked in at 2:12.18, and you know what that means…

That’s right. The winner finished with ample time to catch a late mass.

Or at least, that was the suggestion of a great sign that was spotted on the sidelines of the race earlier on today.

Coming at a time that the institution of mass has seen quite the resurgence thanks to a Facebook event page we’d all have to agree this week has been one of the best publicity weeks that Irish mass has seen in decades.
