Storm Desmond is wreaking havoc all across Ireland, and apparently he’s got a sense of humour.
A small pub in Pettigo, Co. Donegal, known to locals as Brittons Bar, The Pub On The River – has become Brittons Bar, The Pub In The River.
Pettigo’s Main Street has been fairly well battered by the effects of this weekend’s storm, and the owners of Brittons Bar are now standing ankle-deep in floodwater and irony.
Hopefully Desmond wears himself out soon enough, for the sake of local business owners around the country.
