Ohhhhh…
Earlier today, Norwegian Air officially announced details of their low-cost trans-Atlantic flights, which will start this July.
The Norwegian announcement had been widely anticipated and was confirmed on Thursday morning as the airline revealed details of 10 new routes and 38 weekly transatlantic flights from Dublin, Cork, Shannon, Belfast and Edinburgh.
Tickets for the flights from Cork to the US this July are already on sale on the Norwegian Air website.
Norwegian Air sent a tweet earlier today speaking about their new service.

But Aer Lingus declared themselves unimpressed at the offer…
No free bag?
No free seat assignment?
No free meal?
No preclearance?Cheers, you're grand. https://t.co/aZIHqZJpJc
