College life summed up in one picture…
JOE reader Seán Meehan has been in touch to show us his surprisingly large bean can pyramid which was formed over the course of a year while studying in college.
Speaking to JOE, Seán said: “In true college fashion my housemate and I had a diet of beans and toast and little else. The whole collection was made over one year between the two of us.
“We figured Oaktree was the brand for us because of the excellent price to flavour ratio, although rapid inflation brought the price of a tin from 29 cent to 39 cent, which had us nearly financially crippled by the end of the year.
“In the end there were 208 tins.”
It’s some commitment, but we don’t think we’d like to know what the place smelled like after the lads had a feed.
Massive thanks to Seán Meehan for sending this our way on Facebook
