We’ve got some news for those of you who think there’s no benefit to being an Irishman abroad – occasionally, you get free pizza.
Of course, as we all know by now, the Ireland fans in France have been showered in praise not just by the people watching at home but by fans of football, frivolity and fun the world over.
Now, we’re happy to announce that the spotless reputation of the fans in green is yielding benefits on a more micro-level.
A Scottish woman living in Lille spotted a camper van with a huge Irish tricolour on the side and decided to bring the lads within two pizzas and a bottle of Coke, along with a lovely note that read “France loves you, thank you for being awesome, don’t change a thing.”
Can we all have free pizza?
