The Home Sweet Home and Irish Housing Network has confirmed that about 70 people will be having Christmas dinner in the reclaimed Apollo House this Christmas Day.

The building in South Dublin, like so many others, had been laying empty while the homelessness crisis worsened. The movement has provided shelter, beds, food and comfort for at least 40 homeless people per night.

The residents of Apollo House will get Christmas dinner tonight, courtesy of chefs who have donated their time and effort to the cause.

HSH has released a statement this afternoon expressing love to all those who have helped the cause, and to those who have suffered due to austerity.

Home Sweet Home has said that €150,000 has been raised since the movement began. If you want to help out the Irish Housing Network, simply fill in their volunteer form below.
