“They’re saying the dogs should be taken off these people; these people should be taken off their fu**ing dogs.”
One of the perils of live talk radio that involves contributions from listeners, particularly late at night, is that some of them are intent solely on causing a bit of mischief.
One such example occurred on an FM 104 phoneshow last week, where JOE reader Ciaran Warren was listening to a discussion on owners cleaning up after their dogs in Dublin and the surrounding areas and decided to throw his two cents into the mix.
As soon became clear, Ciaran was a little bit economical with the truth as far as his own experience and the experiences of some of his friends were concerned.
While we have sympathy for the host, who has to make every effort not to question the honesty of listeners, it’s nigh on impossible not to laugh at some of Ciaran’s claims and salute his ability to refrain from laughing throughout.
Rather than reveal the details, we’ll let you listen to it for yourself in the video below, which shows the reaction of one of Ciaran’s mates to hearing it live on the radio.
If you’re in need of a laugh today, then this should do the trick. Warning: the language gets a little salty at times.
Cheers to Ciaran Warren for sending this our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to editorial@JOE.ie or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter.
