A Ryanair plane had to be evacuated in Kerry airport this morning and is currently being examined.
The emergency evacuation was instigated by the captain of the flight after smoke was detected in the cockpit of the plane. The plane, flying from London Stansted, has landed safely st Kerry Airport.
The 160 people on board were evacuated via emergency chutes at 9.15am. Two people received minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
Kerry Airport Spokesman Basil Sheerin said they were successful in taking all passengers from the aircraft.
