If you like your clothes and you spend a hell of a lot of time on Facebook then what one shop is doing with its displays is going to have you rushing for the ‘like’ button.

The C&A  clothing chain in Brazil has decided to merge one of the fundamentals of social networking with its clothes. From now on you can make your opinion on their clothes absolutely clear by liking them on Facebook.

The Likes will then appear on the actual hanger of the item using a real time display in each store.

Now, we’re not quite sure if this is useful or absolutely ridiculous, but considering most people see fashion as your own personal style, then surely random Facebook users’ opinions don’t really matter.

Whether this has any long term success or not it seems social networking and the world of retail are going to become harder and harder to separate.
