South Korea has invented a delicious new hangover cure

A hot chicken fillet roll is probably your usual hangover cure, but it might be time to try something cold.

A new ice cream has just been launched in South Korea which claims to cure hangovers.

The Gyeondyo-bar, which aptly translates to ‘hang in there’, will hit shelves over there on Friday.

The ice cream is grapefruit flavoured and contains 0.7% raisin tree fruit juice which is a traditional South Korean hangover remedy.

Drinking is a big part of the culture in South Korea, which sounds familiar, but a study found that South Koreans drink twice as much as Russians and roughly five times more than we do.

People in South Korea see alcohol as an important part of building work relationships, securing business deals and showing respect, so you can see why its vital to have a quick hangover cure on hand before the next business meeting.

No news on the ice creams coming to Ireland just yet, but something tells me the demand will be quite high…
