The minor inter-county footballer who thinks he owns the place
He struts in like he already has an All Star and several All-Irelands. Of course, he doesn’t, but he did get brought onto the pitch for five minutes against Leitrim in a minor inter-county friendly and he’ll never, ever let anyone forget it.
The country lad who’s arrived in a tractor
He looks more at home in wellies than he does in an expensive suit. Nonetheless, he’s made the effort and looks great… he’d probably be better off if he lost the flat-cap though.
The guy who is a little bit older
He’s there for his girlfriend who is a few years his junior. He stays at the bar for most of the night, because at 21, he’s WAY more mature than the rest of you.
The guy who’s wearing something a little madcap
There’s always one person who’s wearing something a little odd. Some years it’s a pink suit, other years it’s cowboy boots. But there’s always one.
The fella you haven’t seen in school all year
You’ve heard his name announced several times during the year, but you assumed he was a fictional character. That was until he rocked up at the debs with a gorgeous date and looking pretty cool. You thought he was just a legend, now you know he actually is one.
