The sounds of Eyre Square to the sights of the Latin Quarter: 7 signs the summer has hit Galway

JOE

From Renmore to Salthill, there’s nowhere quite like Galway during the summer.

The Arts Festival, Galway Races and the Film Fleadh are just a few of the great events that happen there during the summer months.

We can now add another to that list, as the Corona Sunset Sessions is coming to An Púcán on May 26 for an epic party consisting of great drinks, tasty grub and terrific music.

You’ll know it’s summer once the cool Corona’s are flowing and the wonderful tunes are playing.

For more details on this epic party and your opportunity to get tickets, head over here.

Until then, here are 9 other signs the summer has hit Galway.

Shop Street is littered with buskers

During the summer months, you can’t move without hearing the songs of Galway’s busking community. Y’know Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and Ed Sheeran once graced these streets?
