Is this the world’s most expensive car wash?

If cleaning your car with tap water just isn’t enough for you, then take it to Dubai for a £10,000 car wash.

If cleaning your car with tap water just isn’t enough for you, then take it to Dubai for a £10,000 car wash.

Yes, a £10,000 or €11,310 car wash can be yours once you have a car that’s worthy of the service.

Seriously though, not just any Joe soap can pop into Monza Ultimate Detailing and Protection in Dubai. Anyone looking for the service must have a high-end luxury car like a Lamborghini, Ferrari or Aston.

A tad expensive one might think, but the price tag represents the service. Staff train for six months in ‘car pampering’ and use microscopes to ensure all dirt is removed – including the grime not visible to the naked eye.

Staff are not allowed to touch the vehicles with their bare hands. Instead, they use a combination of water treatment and pressure to clean the expensive cars. They also scrub leather upholstery three times before leaving it to breathe for a day, and then rub it down with natural oils to give it a new feel.

A “cheaper” version is also available at £6,000 for anyone unfortunate enough to own a commoner’s car like a BMW or Mercedes.

The company was started by British expat Fredrick Faidhi who said, “I strongly believe it’s a tragedy when someone spends so much money on a magnificent car and then ends up going into a petrol station or washing it at home with normal tap water.

“Our treatment is particularly popular with British petrol-heads, who understand the need to treat their super and luxury cars with the respect they deserve.”
