I’m imagining that right now, anyone that’s reading this article is secretly praying that their favourite take-away or restaurant has adhered to the strict standards that the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) maintain.
We’ve all experienced a dodgy burger or a ropey curry before but if you’re a fan of any of these locations then you might want to make new plans for your post-pub grub.
Closure is issued based on a number of issues that take into account the handling preparation and condition of the premises.
The authorities were busy this month with closure orders issued in Dublin, Cork, Cavan, Louth, Mayo and Wexford to the following establishments:
1. Shanghai House restaurant, Mitchelstown, Co Cork
2. Mr Wong take away, Co Cavan
3. D Limit African & European restaurant, Dublin 3
4. Posh Nosh take away, Moorehall, Ardee, Co Louth.
5. “Fish & Chips” catering trailer (chip van), Hollymount, Co Mayo
6. Pearl River take away, Phibsborough, Dublin 7
7. Hotel Curracloe food preparation and service in and from the kitchen), Enniscorthy, Co Wexford
