Ever lived in any of these places?
Australia and Canada are the places to be, according to a report by the Intelligence Unit of the world-renowned magazine, The Economist.
The Economist this week published its summary of the liveability ranking and overview, which includes a list of the ten most liveable and least liveable cities in the world.
A city’s liveability status is determined by a number of factors, including stability, healthcare, culture and environment and education.
While there has been little change in the top ten most liveable cities in the last 12 months, instability, terrorism and violence have affected the status of a number of cities, including Paris, Sydney and a host of cities in the US.
Melbourne in Australia finished top of the pile and was one of three Australian cities in the top ten alongside Adelaide and Perth.

Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary all made it into the top five alongside Vienna (above), while the top ten was completed by Auckland, Helsinki and Hamburg.
Kiev in the Ukraine was deemed as the world’s least liveable city, meanwhile, followed by Douala in Cameroon, Harare in Zimbabwe, Karachi in Pakistan and Algiers in Algeria.
