Here’s a video of a huge American train coming literally within inches of destroying a car that’s parked across a level crossing.
There’s something about level crossings that we just don’t get. They give you ample warning before the gates come down and yet drivers still manage to park across the tracks.
Lights flash, and horns sound, so there’s no reason for you to think that you’ll get across before the gates come down. Just sit back and relax like everyone else, because you might not be as lucky as this guy.
The driver of the black car above can just be glad that the train driver had his head screwed on properly and stopped the massive train before disaster happened.
If you listen closely you can even hear how p*ssed off the train driver is that he nearly killed someone.
In fairness, we’d be p*ssed if we had to get out of the cab to shout at someone too.
